We are not just your average accounting and taxation firm. We believe in building client relationships and ongoing support all throughout the year opposed, to a once a year visit for taxation services. What you get with our firm is accounting, advisory, bookkeeping and taxation expertise by qualified professionals that are required to complete continuous training on an ongoing basis. This enables our firm to bring new and improved practices based on modern techniques using technology to improve businesses processes and streamline compliance. Our firm is also an eco-friendly office supporting sustainability for future generations by being fully paperless, using solar power to generate electricity and utilising software to assist clients in the everyday activities.
Jake McElwaine
Jake has over 17 years’ experience in public practice and has in depth knowledge in the following areas, audit, taxation, accounting, and bookkeeping. Jake specialises in taxation and business advisory of small to medium entities and has a passion for helping business clients grow their business whilst providing guidance with their business obligations. Jake likes to spend time with his wife and 3 kids along with fishing and playing social basketball.

Kayla Buckley
Kayla brings over 10 years’ experience in retail customer service, with a strong focus on client care, communication, and problem resolution. She has completed studying bookkeeping and accounting, further developing her technical knowledge, and strengthening her understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements. Her commitment to ongoing education reflects her dedication to building a long-term career within the accounting profession.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family. In her downtime, she can often be found reading, gaming, listening to music, or working on a jigsaw puzzle — interests that reflect her focus, patience, and attention to detail.
Charlene Schijvens - Office Manager
Charlene is our office manager and has over 14 years’ experience in the accounting industry. She is a qualified bookkeeper and brings a deep understanding of ASIC corporate compliance requirements. She plays a critical role in ensuring company registrations, annual reviews, changes to officeholders, share structures, and ongoing compliance obligations are managed accurately and efficiently.
Beyond the office, she is a dedicated and busy mum to three young children and cares for a lively household filled with pets. Her ability to balance family life with professional responsibilities reflects her exceptional organisation, resilience, and commitment—qualities she brings to work every day.
